Thich Nhat Hanh is a Vietnamese Buddhist monk, a poet, scholar,
and peace activist. He has lived a long fulfilling life dedicated
to generating peace and reconciliation. His beliefs have
touched the hearts of many, including Martin Luther King who
nominated him for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1967. TNH
founded the Van Hanh Buddhist University in Saigon
as well as the School of Youths of Social Services in Vietnam. • • •
