Book of Life Chapter V and you wrote it

Happy Spring, It's time to introduce 2014's Chapter V for The Book of Life Collection.

Deciding what new pages would best meet the year unfolding was tough.
Patrycja, Jolie and I sat with the suggestions many of you sent throughout March.
I'm still smiling with gratitude for the beautiful and creative participation.



To expand the sentiments of  I am.. I dream.. I breathe..

courage   May you have an enough courage to support a village..

deeply inspired   Let your life be deeply saturated in inspiration..

                                                    in awe   We don't have to dig too deep to stay in awe.

because of my children   I am because we are and how lucky is that.

the essence of passion   Let it fuel your ability to spark something greater than you'd ever imagine.

the mystery   Always be willing to dance in the mystery
for it's more real than anything we think we know.

the silver lining   Develop the ability to see multiple layers of silver linings.

with grace   Aim to walk with it regardless of circumstance.

with lightness of heart   Release your heart's burdens into the light often and renew.

is Saturday, March 31st midnight.

The Barber's Daughters 'Book of Life' collection was launched in 2010
with 9 pages and a promise of 9 more each year.
It's that time again and your call;-)
Create your own story~
Choose pages that mark your greatest joy,
pages to draw strength from, or tenderness, kindness
or courage and reflect the life you want to live.

If we pick your words, you will be gifted with the page in silver, personalized.

Announcing.. Book of Life's new 9 pages

That was a tough call. There were over 250 beautiful entries.
Thank you all for taking the time. Decisions were made by repetition of themes,
then best fit to the collection.

When you think of a jewelry line like ours, since we've never been known to
skimp on content and offer a veneer then silver hikes
106% over last year, you'd say yikes ! or shite ! right? Yup!

Honestly, I've been panicking a bit at the restrictions this hike will force
upon all of us. Panicked enough to research more and have come to some resolve..
even if it stings a little on the front end.

It makes total sense that it has some catching up to do.
In precious metals- Gold, Silver Platinum.. silver has been modest in it's climb,
until now.
